Golf Canada & Sargent Farms announce significant partnership

Sargent Farms & Golf Canada

Golf Canada and Sargent Farms announced today a multi-year integrated partnership that will see Sargent Farms become the Official Chicken Partner for the National Sport Federation.

Through their partnership, Sargent Farms will look to golf as part of its strategy to support whole health and diversity along with connecting with physically active women and families. This is highlighted by Sargent Farms becoming the new Presenting Sponsor of the World Junior Girls Championship. Additional engagement will see partnership with select Golf Canada member clubs and with golfers through the integration of content programming across Golf Canada’s digital network. Upon the return of the RBC Canadian Open in 2022, Sargent Farms will act as the Official Chicken Partner of Canada’s National Men’s Open Golf Championship.

“Sargent Farms is supporting family health and wellness along with meaningful diversity initiatives and we are very pleased to integrate their lifestyle brand across so many pillars of our organization,” said Golf Canada Chief Commercial Officer John Sibley.

“Golf’s emergence through the pandemic as a safe and social activity for families brings tremendous momentum to our partnership. As well, Sargent Farms’ focus on the World Junior Girls Championship as a platform to support diversity and inclusion aligns with Golf Canada’s commitment in this important space.”

For Sargent Farms, aligning with a multi-generational game of a lifetime that brings families together and offers a globally recognized world championship for junior girls were driving factors in the multi-year partnership.

“Sargent Farms is proud to become an official partner of Golf Canada, and the presenting sponsor of the World Junior Girls Championship,” said Justin Robinson, Chief Marketing Officer with Sargent Farms. “We believe that healthy activities like golf are extremely important for young people, as is supporting initiatives that bring people from all walks of life together and promote equal participation. “One of our guiding principles as an organization is total inclusivity and leadership in the communities we serve. The World Junior Girls Championship gives us a platform to not only talk about diversity and inclusion, but to put action behind our principles and support a great avenue for young people to excel and become future leaders.”
